Concessions Stand Fundraising Opportunities and Procedures for Parent Groups and Outside Users
The Booster Club offers Concession Services as fundraising opportunities for both parent groups of scholastic sports teams and outside organizations. These opportunities have included providing concessions for events such as Junior Rangers Football, Volleyball, Wrestling and Cheer tournaments. A percentage of sales has been allocated to outside organizations and parent groups who take on the responsiblity of staffing/running the concession stand for the event. The procedures outlined below have benn approved by the Spencerport Sports Booster:
Outside users include community groups and parent organizations that host events on campus and wish to offer concessions during these events. Examples include Spencerport Junior Ranger Football and the Bernabi Parent Group.
- Submit the dates and times of their events.
- Provide coverage during concession operating hours, from sales, setup and cleanup.
- Designate a representative to attend a pre-event meeting with a booster concessions representative to discuss group needs and the products to be sold.
- Adhere to all District Policies regarding facility use.
- Submit Fundraising for approval.

- A concessions representative will hold a pre-event meeting with the group requesting concessions to discuss group needs and the products to be sold.
- Supply a certified cook for the event if necessary (L1 or L2 certification).
- Ensure a Booster Club representative is present at both the opening and closing of the event and is available by phone for any issues related to concessions during the event.
- Provide a start-up bank and the Square System Device
- Provide all approved products for sale at the event.
- 50% of total sales to Sports Boosters to cover product expenses, Square transaction fees, insurance, and administrative fees.
- 35% of total sales to Boosters, added to the concessions fundraising account.
- 15% of total sales to the outside group.
Note: This format has been previously used with the Spencerport Junior Rangers and the Bernabi Parent Group.
Parent groups can conduct fundraisers utilizing Booster Club concession stands. Additionally, parent groups may cover concessions for outside organizations that require concessions but prefer not to staff the stand themselves (Spencerport Junior Ranges Football Championship event). In such cases, parent groups receive a percentage of sales per the distribution below.
- 50% of total sales to Sports Boosters to cover product expenses, Square transaction fees, insurance, and administrative fees.
- 30% of total sales to the parent group managing concessions.
- 20% of total sales to Boosters, added to the concessions fundraising account.
