What is the Spencerport Sports Booster Wish List
Spencerport Sports Booster "Wish List" Request Program
The "Wish List" Funds are raised throughout the 3 sports seasons from the sales at the Concession Stands run by Sports Booster Club members and parent volunteers.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the Wish List Program is to support all sports teams in the
Spencerport School District by providing funding outside of the general budget for those items a
coach feels will help build a stronger program at all levels.
GUIDELINES: The Spencerport Sports Booster Club (SSBC) believes that there are three areas that
build a stronger program and will be considered eligible for funding by the Wish List Program.
They are the 3 P’s – Preparation, Practice, and Participation.
Preparation – equipment, events, training, off-season conditioning that will make a team/program
better prepared to succeed, that are not able to be funded in the general budget.
Practice – equipment or other items that enhance practice and improve skills needed to succeed,
that are not able to be funded in the general budget.
Participation – equipment, events, program enhancements, or other items that encourage more
participation and commitment to the success of the program that are not funded through the
general budget.
*Please note that there is one P missing – that is Personal Items – apparel and accessories that
would be given/kept to student athletes are not eligible for inclusion on the Wish List.
